mountain and trail biking
Mountain bikes are not allowed on public footpaths. We generally stick to bridleways, designated cycle paths and forestry trails.

Our trail biking activities are usually run on scenic low level valley routes, typical of this are forest tracks, fire-roads, bridleways and cycleways. These routes are less demanding but still take in the scenic quality of the area. We build in plenty of rest stops and try very hard to find at least one tea shop en-route.

However we can provide something a little more demanding if you request it and introduce you to the delights of riding on more remote mountain tracks.

Whatever you decide, our purpose is to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for the whole group and we cater for the fitness and ability of each individual member. Before any trip we will ensure you are familiar with the bike and its gearing and make any adjustments required. Over the duration of the ride we will provide basic instruction in handling the bike on different terrain.

Our bikes are specialist mountain bikes designed to make riding a comfortable experience as possible and provide the necessary gearing to assist you up any hills and steep bits! We provide cycle safety helmets and day sacs to carry your waterproofs and snacks in. We also have a selection of comfortable saddles!

All rides are led by qualified Mountain Bike Leaders who have been assessed and trained by the Off Road Training Consultancy
