about us

We set Touching the Outdoors up in 2005 to cater for the growing number of people who had reached their late forties and early fifties and who wanted to try something a little different. We quickly discovered that our activities were in demand by a wider age group and we now offer a tailor made activity programme to suit individual levels of fitness and experience. We have been sharing our favourite bike trails, hill walks and waterways for several years with our friends and now have great pleasure in sharing Touching the Outdoors with you.

There are plenty of providers offering the more extreme end of outdoor activities, we cater specifically for individuals who have perhaps never ridden a bike off road before or who have always wondered about the delights of a canoe trip.

We specialise in offering a memorable and enjoyable experience that we hope will open up new opportunities and horizons for you.
